At Rusty's Pitmasters BBQ, we believe that barbeque is more than just food - it's an experience and it is about bringing people together. We're dedicated to serving up barbeque that is unlike anything people have had before so that people will want to gather with their friends and family and enjoy being with one another. We want to make your experience with Rusty's Pitmasters BBQ a memorable one that will not just have you remember an unforgettable bbq flavor, but a memory of being with those that matter most because being with others is really what BBQ is all about!
Every meat at Rusty‘s Pitmasters BBQ is cooked using a hardwood and charcoal fire, PERIOD. We refuse to compromise this standard because a true fired cook is what makes what we do unlike any other: that is the pitmaster difference. There are no knobs to adjust, no gas to turn down or up, and every cook is a representation of an extensive labor of love, patience, dedication, and experience. This is what brings people together, and what will make being together extra special.
The true beauty of barbecue is that at its core and in its history, barbecue is about bringing others together. The full vision of what we seek to build at Rusty's is an environment where you can come and comfortably gather and enjoy spending time with others; to better relax and connect, it just so happens we serve really great bbq!
Right now, we are helping others to gather at their homes or at other catered events, but one day we look forward to people being able to stick around. All long term goals of expansion are targeted at only expanding our ability to bring people together. That is what true BBQ is all about.
We do not use the name of Texas lightly. We invoke the name because that is how serious we take our briskets. Texas style brisket is defined as a thick dark bark, simple seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic), with sauce always on the side so that the fire, smoke, and beef are the flavors that shine through. Servings will be split half point and flat.
Considered by some pitmasters to be the crown jewel of BBQ, beef ribs bring all the flavor and technique of beef brisket condensed into a rib sized package that simply hits different as seasoning and smoke flavor is able to almost penetrate through the entire protein.
Individually seasoned and smoked juicy beef sliders are paired with smoked bacon and topped with cheddar cheese and Rusty‘s special crack sauce and bbq sauce before being sandwiched in a Hawaiian roll and given one last hit of smoke to make sure each bite is an explosion of bbq smoke slider heaven!
These monster cuts of steak perfection weigh in between 25-30oz, are seared directly over a hickory fire and then cooked indirectly to a perfect smoked seared steak heaven! These stakes will be unlike anything you have ever had and are just right to share with a friend… if you feel like sharing…
The smell, the deep dark mahogany red bark, the taste, the satisfaction of the meat pulling clean off the bone; fewer things draw a crowd and bring people together like a perfect rack of ribs! Seasoned either with a more peppery Texas style rub or a sweeter Kansas City rub, our ribs are smoked low and slow for hours until they are nothing short of flawless and served with sauce on the side. From the bark, to the feel, every detail is watched so when your people gather, they stick around.
At Rusty’s we have a higher standard for what we serve and why we do what we do. To that end we do not pre-pull any pork and instead sell the whole roast (feeds 12-15 people) as is to preserve every ounce of flavor. Cooked Texas style to create a dark, thick bark, with the juiciest tender shreds of pork locked inside until you are ready to serve. Trust us, this is not “just” pulled pork, it is a testament to us being bbq pitmasters.
After being bry brined for 7 days that make these 24 oz steaks packed full of flavor and more tender then thought possible, these pork stakes are seared and cooked over a apple and cherrywood fire that will give you a bbq flavored experience that will make you rethink that perhaps it is the pork steak that is the best steak you have ever had!
Dry Brined for days with our special seasoning to create a juicy tender roast for the whole family or party to gather around, each roast is closely monitored as it is smoked over an indirect hardwood fire until It has reached a state of bbq magnificence that we demand of all our cooks at Rusty’s. Feeds 8-10 people.
Slices of pork shoulder are marinated for 24 hours in an achiote paste marinade, the slices of pork are then smoked using a rotisserie to achieve a superb even cook. The meat is finished by being sliced fresh from the rotisserie before then being seared on a 500 degree cast iron surface.
Dry brined for days to lock in flavor and moisture, the bird is cooked spatchcock style to ensure a true pit master smoked flavor. White or dark meat, every bite is beyond any other chicken you’ve tried and well worth, bypassing the cheap rotisserie chicken you might be used to when you think of whole chicken.
Smoked (and fried if desired and it is SO worth it) and juicy, these are beyond words delicious! So good you can just skip the sauce. Salt and peppery with a hint of citrus these are sure to be a hit!
Having a hard time picking how to feed a crowd at a party or gathering, literally just WING it! Smoked to perfection and then some how still taken to the next level by being fried to get that iconic crunch! Toss in a sauce or just eat as is, you will not regret choosing to gather around these Amazing bbq wings!
Dry brined for a minimum of 4 days, smoked and then baptized in butter. Even the most stubborn turkey hater will have a hard time turning this down when you all gather round!
The item that begs the question if Mother Nature didn’t want us to eat animals, why would she have made an entire meal of happiness hand held? Juicy, smoky, and perfect to enjoy with others!
